News Flash, People Search

On May 28th, Memorial Day, people across the USA will honor the many men and women who have died serving in the United States Military. The sacrifice these individuals make for our nation is invaluable. No matter our different political affiliations or beliefs, we can all agree that the service and sacrifice of the men and women in our military are to be honored.

As of 2010, 1.4 million men and women were estimated to be in active service within the US Military. While active and often in extreme situations, these giving individuals make friends with one another who have a major impact on their lives. Often, upon return, the friendships that were made away from home, fall behind with the responsibilities and stresses of returning to life as it was.

Spokeo understands that these friendships are meaningful and has heard from many users that our service was useful in helping them connect with former military friends. Spokeo is committed to helping more military personnel make connections this Memorial Day. A simple name search can help you find the friend you’re looking for, while an email search may lead you to a phone number to get in touch.

If you know of any members of the military seeking a friend from the past, or are yourself looking to reconnect please share your story with us by emailing pr@spokeo.com. Our staff works hard everyday to continue making Spokeo a better resource for connecting people.

Have you used Spokeo to find a military friend? Please share your story with us!! We love hearing about how Spokeo has impacted the lives of our users and in honor of this upcoming Memorial Day we want to highlight the wonderful features that exist for military members!
