There was one clear winner at last night’s CMT awards–Carrie Underwood. Not only did the American Idol champion take home her third straight “Video of the Year” award, but she’s now CMT’s top winner with 11 buckles under her “belt.”
She’s on a role after she and Miranda Lambert closed the show at both last night’s CMT airing and the recent Billboard Music Awards with their leather-clad duet performances of “Somethin’ Bad.”
“It’s really hard to believe,” she shared as she accepted the fan-voted video of the year. “I’ve been doing this for nine years, but every single second of these nine years have been amazing.”
NINE years? Wow, I can’t even believe American Idol has been around that long! But we digress, last night was about country music’s reigning queen and we’re excited for her and all that she’s accomplished.
If you’re interested in learning more about what she’s been up to these nine last years and even earlier, be sure to check out her Spokeo Famous People page. Did you know she graduated high school in 2001 as salutatorian?
All that and more, including photos and romance history are waiting for you viewing pleasure!
