I was door dashing in Stamford, Connecticut, on July 18, 2022 where I had a minor $5 order to go to subway and pick up a cookie for the customer and at approximately 13:27 I got a call from the number +1 469 759-2906 under the name DoorDash. The speaker on the other end of the phone stated that the "subway customer with an $5 cookie order's card declined" and he asked for my login details in order to cancel the order and reimburse me for the "cancelled order". I received an email from the caller to put in my login details in order to "verify my account". After that he asked me to close the app and open it again to see if the order disappeared and it did, however, my completion rate went down, making me suspect the man got into my account and cancelled the order himself. He then told me that the refund for the trip would come in 5 days time (the $5), however, it never came. On the 23rd of July, I completely lost access to my account, where I forgot the incident even happened and I thought I was deactivated due to my low completion rate. At approximately 22:00 on the 24th, I called doordash to check if I was deactivated, and to my shock, they told me the email to my account was changed to (some random numbers)@gmail.com. Doordash started an investigation of the email change and I finally got my account back at approximately 07:30 this morning, on the 25th of July. I noticed that the routing number in my dasher account was changed and the money was direct deposited into the scammer's account. Doordash opened another minor investigation and transferred me the $143.91 into my bank account. I highly believe the +1 469 759-2906 got into my account and stole from me. I'm not sure how they had my email or phone number.
