Yahoo People Search should search deeper within oneself for answers
August 4th, 2008 by raphaelOk, so it sounds a little like something out of a fortune cookie. But on a more serious note, it’s absolutely true.
Just yesterday, for the hell of it, I decided to search myself on Yahoo! People Search. I figured I’d have no problem calling up all the social networks I belong to or even the countless comments I’ve made over the years on forums (after all this is the second largest search engine in the world). Much to my surprise, I found nothing more than useless information that could have been retrieved on any search engine; big or small.
Now compare that with what I managed to find on myself with one of the web’s hottest people search tools to date. Spokeo People Search, a comprehensive people search tool , discovered that I belonged to five social networks, found my personal photos, and to my own embarrassment found my old troubleshooting questions on forums from years back. Wow…talk about all-in-my-business!
Despite the initial shock, it worked like a true people search platform should. At the end of the day all I wanted was: The Goods! And that’s what I got.
So if you want to to search on the surface, use Yahoo! People Search, however, if you want to dig deeper go with Spokeo People Search. I consider it better than Yahoo People Search.

People-spot.com is the niftiest little people search engine. It’s totally free, of course, and it digs up a wide range of information on the subject of your search. You can even expand it to do a background check that looks into everything from criminal records to a person’s relatives and associates. All legal and confidential. Anyway, give it a try — I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
