Beware SCAM -- at approximately 6:00 p.m. Friday evening a caller claims I have won a Mercedes Benz in the color of my choice and a cashiers check for $87,000. Caller spoke with accent so it was difficult to understand him and I constantly had to ask him to repeat what he said. It almost seemed like the caller was speak this way deliberately. Caller said "TO CLAIM MY PRIZES I would have to send a Western Union money wire of $250 to their lawyer (David Bond in Fort Worth, TX) for the Taxes". Caller claimed prizes were from Publisher's Clearing House. I checked the real Publisher's Clearing House's website where it clearly states that PCH will NEVER collect any money from prize winner. And for any prize(s) valued over $500, the winner will only be notified by express mail or certified main NEVER by phone. Also if you look on the IRS's website it states that taxes on prizes / winnings are paid at the time of an individual filing the annual federal tax return - NOT in advance. The caller called himself Mr. Arlando Green and his supervisor called herself Mrs. Omar Black. If you receive any calls like this one, Call your local police department to report it.
