Paro Deez Is Ratchet As F*ck
Huffington Post - about 2 years
I know very little about anything, but I can pretend to know more than I actually do about a few topics -- namely, beer, art, shoes, and that's about it. But entertainment? Not so much. Particularly online. I still think the internet (yes, lowercase "i," I'm taking a stand) is for porn, cat memes, and YouTube trolls. But I do know genius when I see it. I knew it when I saw, Liam Kyle Sullivan's Shoes; I knew it when I saw college friend, Randall's ‪The Crazy Nastyass Honey Badger; and I knew it upon seeing Paro Deez. ‬‬‬ What is Paro Deez? Well, I don't want to oversell it, so I'll just say that it's only one of the most brilliant online features today. Basically, the creator takes clips of young pop stars being interviewed on a host of television programs, and then splices them together, creating a dialogue and a narrative among the pop stars rooted in competition, obloquies, and brutal oneupmanship. At first the segments come across as petty and superficial, primarily because the ...

The Crap We Missed – Thursday 1.30.14
The Superficial - about 4 years
Welcome to Wednesday’s The Crap We Missed which due to the entire press corps being in New Jersey should be a lot smaller except I crammed it full of random ass. When in doubt, fill that motherfucker with butts, is something I believe Ben Franklin once said. But in between them — *rereads* Yep, that’s fine — we’ve got Hugh Jackman in Jazz Cab!, Aubrey O’Day making bestiality gross all of a sudden, and that obviously old, recycled Kelly Brook shot up there that I’m in no way above shamelessly posting here to rake in pageviews. It’s this or go back to lying to my family about editing porn again. Gwen Stefani’s Pregnant Selfie Should Go Over Well
The Superficial - about 4 years
Maria Kang was literally run off of Facebook for daring to say diet and exercise will make you thinner, so I really see the Internet responding well to Gwen Stefani‘s insane pregnant selfie. Because if there’s one thing women love, it’s the physical success of other women. Can’t get enough of it. Even more amazing, the tiles on her floor are straight which is weird because I could’ve sworn everyone in California has wavy houses now. Look at Aubrey O’Day’s. It’s like she lives in a fucking kaleidoscope. Get with the times, Stefani. Was The Point Of This Post Just To Put These Here? Yes, Yes It Was ...

R&B girl group Danity Kane is officially reuniting. Danity Kane's Aubrey O'Day took to Instagram on Saturday night to post a new promotional photo of the group, teasing fans with blurred versions of the image before revealing the full picture, writing, "DANITY KANE is officially BACK!" The photo shows O'Day with her three of her four original bandmates: Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, and Dawn Richard. Noticeably absent from the photo is D. Woods, who has been pursuing a solo career. Rumors began swirling in May that the Diddy-created group would be reuniting when O'Day, Bex, Fimbres, and Richard were spotted having lunch together. Earlier this week, photos surfaced of MTV's seating arrangement for tonight's Video Music Awards, showing seats set aside for the members of Danity Kane. An official announcement about Danity Kane's reunion will be made from the VMAs at 8:15pm E.S.T. on MTV.

Terrence Chappell: The 8 People You'll Encounter at Chicago's Pride Parade
Huffington Post - over 4 years
Regardless of your sexuality, the Pride parade is a time to toast to being you. A colorful celebration decorated with personality, passion, and countless booty-short-wearing twerkers, Halsted Street truly comes alive with the community's support and their shirtless men! As a native of Chicago, I've been going to the Pride [arade for several years now. I must say that each and every year, I've had over-the-top fun and positive experiences. I attribute all of this to the company I keep during Pride. And over the years, I've encountered many different types of company, most of whom are vivacious and keep the party going. But there are some unavoidables who could potentially have you in a few altered states at a crazed sex party with an impending police raid, though I realize for some the first part sounds like just another weekend. So this Pride, break open the champagne, because regardless of what has happened, it is still a celebration for at least our future successes...

New Video: Aubrey O'Day, 'Wrecking Ball'
MTV News - over 5 years
Aubrey O'Day surveys the "damage" (get it?) in her new "Wrecking Ball" video. Never one to let the faithful Aubtorage down, former "Making The Band" pop princess Aubrey O'Day has at long last premiered the video for her Pia Toscano-penned power ballad, "Wrecking Ball," which first debuted back in April. Taking a breather from the sweat-heavy choreo from the blessed days of Danity Kane (RIP forever and ever and ever), Aubsies spends the bulk of her newest video serving up some glam rock in front of a full band -- lovin' that "I Love Rock 'N' Roll" realness, Aub! -- and canoodling on a beach with a well-built mystery man. Basically, if Britney's "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know" and Pussycat Dolls' "I Hate This Part" had a baby, it would be born with very blonde extensions and looking exactly like this video. Watch Aubrey O'Day's "Wrecking Ball" video after the jump. But all's not what it seems: Despite all the face-sucking and smoldering pre-sex glances happening between t...
