With Amelia near the top of the popularity lists, cousin Amalia promises to inspire. Caleb Kerry Washington has stuck with a winning strategy for naming her two children with husband Nnamdi Asomugha. When A Nanny Drops A Baby On The Head, And Mom Gets The Blame
Huffington Post - about 1 year
On January 1st 2017, Eva Amurri Martino (daughter of Hollywood star Susan Sarandon), revealed on her blog, Happily Eva After, that her baby son had been dropped on his head by his night nurse. In her post titled, "The Struggle is Real," the mom writes that a couple of days after Thanksgiving, a night nurse who was caring for the then ten-week-old baby, fell asleep while holding baby Major and dropped him. Major cracked his head on the hardwood floor as a result of the fall. Both parents were sleeping at the time and were awoken by the sound of the baby's head hitting the floor. The baby suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on his brain and was rushed by ambulance to Yale Medical Center where he spent two days receiving emergency care. Thankfully, Major recovered and is now back at home with his family. In her post, Eva speaks frankly about the guilt she feels following the event. She talks about how she still blames herself; how she is now struggling to trust anyone with...

Susan Sarandon Did WHAT With Her Daughter?
Huffington Post - almost 5 years
We're all for mother-daughter bonding time, but Susan Sarandon went above and beyond the call of duty to hang out with daughter Eva Amurri Martino. On a recent visit to "The Wendy Williams Show," Sarandon admitted that she'd tagged along to one of her daughter's private pole dancing classes (Amurri Martino was preparing for a role on "Californication") -- and even gave it a try. "I ended up bruised and very discouraged," Sarandon said wryly. "You have to really be strong. They should make an Olympic event out of pole dancing." That would probably give it a ratings boost, but it sounds as if Sarandon won't be signing up to compete. What's the weirdest bonding experience you've shared with a family member? "The Wendy Williams Show" airs weekdays -- check local listings for your timeslot. TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.

Annette Bourdeau: What Will Susan Sarandon, Jack Of All Trades, Do Next?
Huffington Post - almost 5 years
Even after all these years in the spotlight, Susan Sarandon is still full of surprises. A few years ago she managed to make ping pong cool again by launching a hipster-friendly string of lounges called Spin. Now she's co-starring in a new movie called Snitch with ...The Rock? The Rock is great at what he does, he's just not the kind of leading man I usually associate Sarandon with. She's shared the screen with legendary actors like Tommy Lee Jones, Jack Nicholson, Kevin Costner, Sean Penn and Richard Gere, to name just a handful. Sarandon doesn't seem to follow any particular formula when she chooses her projects, which is part of what makes her so cool (and has probably helped her enjoy such a long career in fickle Hollywood). She appears to just go for whatever she wants, without worrying about any pre-calculated "image" or "career strategy." It's resulted in what must have been some pretty fun projects to work on in recent years. She's done everything from video ...

Christopher Rosen: Is 'That's My Boy' Adam Sandler's 'Midnight In Paris'?
Huffington Post - over 5 years
He makes roughly one movie per year, but only die hard fans seem to care. Critics often complain that his good years are behind him, which is ironic since his best movie in the last decade focuses on the foolishness of living in the past. But enough about Woody Allen and "Midnight in Paris." Adam Sandler's back in theaters with "That's My Boy," a bit of dirty R-rated comedy that would rank with "Happy Gilmore" and "Billy Madison" if you were still 17 years old. Naturally, critics have skewered Sandler like he's a war criminal. "Even with 87.5 years to go, the 21st century may never see a stupider comedy than 'That's My Boy,'" snarked Chicago Tribune critic Michael Phillips. In "That's My Boy," Sandler plays Donny Berger, a Massachusetts man who became famous in the '80s for fathering a child with his teacher (Eva Amurri Martino, Susan Sarandon's daughter). About that: "That's My Boy" uses statutory rape as the basis for a comedy. (If the genders were switched, "T...

See Milo Ventimiglia's Sexy, Buff Body!
US Magazine - over 5 years
Who knew Milo Ventimiglia had such a buff body? In his new movie, That's My Boy, the shirtless actor, 34, plays an Iraq war veteran who develops a questionable relationship with his sister (Leighton Meester, 26). Ventimiglia frequently shows off his sculpted physique -- and his bare butt! -- in the raunchy comedy, in theaters June 15. PHOTOS: Hollywood's hottest hunks That's My Boy also stars Adam Sandler, 45, Andy Samberg, 33, Ciara, 26, Vanilla Ice, 44, Eva Amurri, 27, Susan Sarandon, 65, James Caan, 72, Will Forte, 41, and Ana Gasteyer, 45. For Ventimiglia -- best known for his role as Peter Petrelli on NBC's Heroes -- working with the star-studded cast was a dream come true. "It was an interesting thing for me. I was known as 'the actor.' And I'm like, 'Wait, you guys are all actors.' They were like, 'No, we're comedians," Ventimiglia explains. "There was actually a day on set where I realized, 'Wow, I'm the only actor who was not on SNL.' You had Adam, you had Andy...

Sarandon & Daughter Team For 'Mother's Day'
Huffington Post - almost 6 years
Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri Martino could celebrate Mother's Day this Sunday by reading pages from their new film, "Mother's Day." Despite the holiday-themed title -- a recent Hollywood trope that has become synonymous with star-studded omnibus romcom tripe -- "Mother's Day" is actually an indie drama about mothers and daughters that just so happens to take place on Mother's Day. Paul Duddridge, a former comedy agent in Britain, will write and direct. This isn't the first time the mother-daughter duo have appeared together onscreen. Sarandon and Amurri played mother and daughter in "The Banger Sisters" back in 2002. As THR notes, Amurri also appeared as a younger version of Sarandon's character in "Dead Man Walking." Amurri Martino's father is Italian director Franco Amurri. She married soccer player Kyle Martino in 2011. Sarandon last appeared in the critically acclaimed "Jeff, Who Lives At Home." Amurri Martino will next appear in "That's My Boy." [via THR,...
