Parker Posey's Best 'Dazed And Confused' Anecdotes From The 20th Anniversary NYFF Screening

All right, all right, all right: To celebrate the 20th anniversary of "Dazed and Confused," director Richard Linklater screened his own 35mm print of the 1993 classic at the 51st annual New York Film Festival on Thursday night. (The Alice Tully Hall audience was not instructed to watch the leather, man, before the movie began, but the request seemed all but implied.)
Linklater -- who joked that "Dazed and Confused" actually came out in 1976, and played the Southern drive-in circuit as part of a double-feature with the Burt Reynolds film "Gator" (the "Dazed" print was so beat up that it certainly looked the part) -- was joined after the screening by stars Jason London, Anthony Rapp and Parker Posey for a Q&A session, hosted by Kent Jones, Film Society of Lincoln Center director of programming and selection committee chairman.
