Acknowledged as a grand academic achievement, three Eastchester High School students have been named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Commended students placed in the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition and the students are Jennifer Cimons, Grant Cohen and Humayra Mayat, all college bound seniors.
“I'm so pleased the three fine Eastchester High School seniors were honored as Commended Students through the National Merit Scholarship Program," remarked Principal Dr. Jeffrey Capuano who continued that, "not only are Jennifer, Grant, and Humayra excellent students, but they are kind and decent individuals who add much to our school community.”
