Look At This Reckless Baby Hands Graduation Photo Shoot
Huffington Post - 10 months
When you think about graduation ceremonies, you likely think of the cap, the gown, and, of course, baby hands. In celebration of her graduation from Appalachian State University, Delaney Henry had a photo shoot to end all graduate photo shoots. Henry posted on Facebook five photos of herself donning her cap and gown in a field. The caption reads: “All my mom wanted was serious graduation photos.” Seems fairly standard, right? Well, until you see Henry’s hands. Because they are teensy, tiny baby hands. Very serious indeed. Are these the best graduation photos we’ve ever seen? Yes. Is Delaney a national hero? Yes.  The photographs have garnered nearly 100,000 shares on Facebook and over 45,000 comments. Many of which compare Henry’s photoshoot to that of Kristen Wiig’s iconic “Saturday Night Live” character, Dooneese. If you don’t remember Dooneese, you’re a subpar human being. Despite that, we will refresh your memory with this gif: ...

‘If You Take Out Kenan Thompson, The Studio Will Explode'
Huffington Post - 10 months
Kenan Thompson took the stage in an oversized three-piece suit and an awkward wig bursting with Jheri curls. He looked, objectively speaking, completely and utterly ridiculous. Seconds before, a BET logo flashed across the screen as SNL cast member Will Forte, playing a talk show announcer, introduced the sketch: “It’s ‘What’s Up With That!’ Tackling the issues of today with soul,” Forte bellowed. “Now, here’s your host: Diondre Cole!” It was October 17, 2009, and unlikely as it seemed, Thompson was finally about to have his moment with the debut of a Saturday Night Live skit that would define him. He boogied in with a silly zip to each step. Perfectly in time, perfectly in tune and perfectly in control, Thompson began to sing, “Ooo―eee! What up with that? What up with that?” along with his two go-go dancers, played by Nasim Pedrad and Jenny Slate. What, exactly, was happening? Almost no one seemed to know, most especially the bewildered guests of the fictional show, whi...

Hollywood Talent Agency Ditches Usual Oscar Party In Favor Of Anti-Trump Rally
Huffington Post - 12 months
In a typical year, the United Talent Agency, like so many other talent agencies, throws a big shindig in the lead-up to the Academy Awards. But after President Donald Trump decided to sign an executive order banning people from seven predominately Muslim countries, as well as all refugees, the agency quickly decided this wasn’t a typical year.  “Having a big fun celebration to celebrate the accomplishments of our industry just didn’t feel right,” United Talent Agency CEO Jeremy Zimmer told the Los Angeles Times. So, the agency decided to throw an anti-Trump rally instead. On Friday, the agency held what it called a united voices rally at the company’s office in Beverly Hills in support of immigrant rights and in opposition to Trump’s policies.  “I have nothing against parties,” Zimmer said. “But I felt that this could also be a moment to stand up and say, ‘Something’s wrong. This doesn’t feel right. And we need to pay attention to how this feels at this time in this co...

Watch the first trailer for ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ season 9
Yahoo News - about 1 year
2016 has been an incredibly fraught year, but at least Jerry Seinfeld is attempting to end it on a positive note with the release of the first trailer for the ninth season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee . By the time the new season begins, it will only have been six months since the eighth season concluded. As with each of the past three seasons, Seinfeld will be joined by six guests in season 9: Kristen Wiig, Norm Macdonald, Cedric the Entertainer, Lewis Black, Bob Einstein and Christoph Waltz. You could argue that Waltz isn't exactly a comedian, but neither was President Obama, and that still worked out pretty well . Take a sneak peek at the new season and the upcoming guests in the short trailer below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lOLTQzNxUM 53 episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee have aired to date. Although there has been some talk of Seinfeld exploring other options outside of the Crackle streaming service, the two parties appear to have reached a deal, as the ni...
