Louise Sara Lindner Eastman was the wife of entertainment lawyer Lee Eastman. She was the daughter of Stella (Dryfoos) and Max Joseph Lindner, the founder of the Lindner Company, a women's clothing store in Cleveland, Ohio. Her family was of German Jewish descent.
