Mark Brennan Rosenberg: 10 Reasons to Watch Nashville
Huffington Post - almost 5 years
If you're not watching Nashville every Wednesday night on ABC, you're just plain crazy. It is, by far, the best new show of the 2012-2013 season and the critics agree. If that isn't enough, I have ten very good reasons you should be watching one of the best new dramas to debut in the past few years. 1. The Eye Candy. If you're a lady (or a gay), it doesn't matter how old you are, there is a hot guy for you to lust after at any age. Jonathon Jackson who was cute on General Hospital is all grown up and looking fine as hell. Without A Trace vet and super-hottie Eric Close co-stars as well as Charles Esten, who is apparently pushing fifty and is hotter than most 30-year-olds I've seen recently. But the breakout hottie on Nashville is by far Sam Palladio, who plays Gunner, an up-and-coming country music singer who has all of the ladies in Nashville swooning. If you're a guy and you're looking for a little eye candy, I have two words for you: Hayden Panettiere. 2. It's l...

Fall 2012 TV Preview: More thrills and chills, fewer laughs
Denver Post - over 5 years
Television will do its best to scare, unnerve and cliffhang this fall. With the rare exception, the dramas look much more promising than the comedies. A range of old dramatic genres and types — the lawman, the superhero, the archvillain, the detective, the catfight — are getting modern updates. The comedic offerings for Fall 2012 are a middling bunch, although history suggests some comedies take time to grow into themselves. (“Modern Family” was an instant hit but “Seinfeld”and “Cheers” were famously slow starters.) Time for a couch potato’s version of speed dating vis-a-vis the 18 new series, with premiere dates. Guess which ones will make it past Thanksgiving? The six best: “The New Normal” (NBC) — A gay couple who want to have a child meet a single mom who wants to escape her overbearing (and hilarious) mother and start anew. Ryan Murphy (“Glee”) presents a smart peek at old stereotypes and new formulations of family. Andrew Ranells and Justin Bartha are the committed coup...

Faded Tribune - almost 6 years
Hayden Panettiere attended the WildAid Charity Gala at Terra Gallery in San Francisco, CA last night (May 11). Joined by actor John Corbett, the 22-year-old starlet looked pretty in pink as she helped raise money and awareness for the campaign which aims to end the illegal wildlife trade in our lifetimes by reducing demand through public awareness campaigns and providing comprehensive marine protection. Meanwhile, Hayden has a brand-new gig. Her pilot Nashville has been picked up to series by ABC. The one-hour drama Nashville is a family soap set against the backdrop of the Nasville music scene. It follows one star at her peak and another star on the rise. American Horror Story star Connie Britton portrays Rayna. Powers Boothe also co-stars. Tweets Hayden: “Happy to announce that our show on ABC’s Nashville has been picked up! Nashville here we come!!!!”
