Top artists for Sheffield music festival

A FRESH raft of artists have been announced for Sheffield’s free summer music festival Tramlines. The award-winning event’s line-up now includes 20 new artists across all genres in addition to headliners We Are Scientists, Ms Dynamite, and Mr Scruff. Singer and songwriter Eugene McGuinness is one of the acts who has just been snapped up. Sarah Nulty, festival director, said: “This is only the second announcement we have made but already the line-up is looking pretty amazing. “We still have loads more to come, last year we had over 600 artists playing across the festival so it shows the level of diversity at Tramlines. There really is something for everyone. “The key thing though is that the festival is free. No tickets, just turn up and see your favourite artists.” Tramlines – one of the biggest free festivals in Europe – runs from Friday, July 20 to Sunday, July 22.
