Celebrities, in general, aren’t exactly known for their understated fashion sense, but Halloween brings out a whole different side of people. Celebs love Halloween because they’re used to pretending to be something they’re not…and who doesn’t love a good costume? Some famous folks, though, love Halloween more than your average six year old. Here are a few people we know will be counting down the days until All Hallow’s Eve…
Goldie Hawn’s daughter throws an annual Halloween bash at her Brentwood home and her friends go all out. Hudson herself is usually dressed to impress – her costumes over the last few years have ranged from Game of Thrones characters to the leader of a very sexy biker gang.
Perry’s big on the Halloween circuit which makes sense considering many of her everyday getups could pass as costumes. Last year’s costume? The hilarious “Sad Cheeto,” and her dark hair’s made her a ringer in years past for everyone from Snow White to Cleopatra.
Though the BBC host isn’t that well known in the US, he throws what is arguably the biggest Halloween bash in Britain every year. It’s a real coup considering the Brits don’t usually take the holiday as seriously as Americans, and the party’s played host to everyone from Kate Moss to Simon Cowell.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
No word yet on whether the new parents plan to host their annual Halloween bash this year, but the two love a good couples’ costume (last year they went as two pigs.) Some of the biggest names in the business frequent this Hollywood fete including Jennifer Lawrence, Andy Samberg, and Kate Bosworth.
Neil Patrick Harris
Some people go all out for Christmas cards, Neil Patrick Harris and his family go all out for Halloween. It’s that simple! Every year, Harris and his partner David Burtka dress the whole family up in a group costume. Examples have included the Batman villains, everyone from Peter Pan, and nearly the whole cast of The Wizard of Oz.
Heidi Klum is, inarguably, the champion of celebrity Halloween costumes. For nearly a decade photogs have been waiting with baited breath to see what the supermodel will wear to her annual, star-studded bash and her outfit never disappoints. Previous favorites have included a skinned human being, an Avatar, and last year’s convincing getup, a 90-year old woman.
