We know, to day is National Donut Day and the whole country is talking about it, BUT, Monday is National Best Friends Day! So make sure you make plans to grab: a pizza (or a donut!) to share, your phone for some selfies, and – most importantly – your best friend while you look through our list of some of the most famous celebrity best friend duos around. All together now: Awwwwww!
Could they be the most famous Hollywood best friends of our era? Maybe. Ben and Matt grew up together in Boston and became famous at exactly the same time. They actually co-wrote the Oscar-winning screenplay for “Good Will Hunting” and have since made a job out of sharing the limelight. They’ve been through wives, kids, and plenty of critical acclaim but through it all they’ve maintained a bromance for the ages.
These two Aussie bombshells shared the screen in 1991 and haven’t looked back since. Going up for some of the same roles in Australia’s small acting scene only brought them closer together and to this day the pair continue to see each other regularly, even taking family vacations together.
…Or Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss, or Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham, or Taylor Swift and Lorde – you get the picture. Taylor’s built herself quite the ‘posse’ over the last few years but one friend’s stayed the course. The two have attended multiple awards shows together and been through quite the gamut of boyfriends (most notably John Mayer and Justin Bieber) but they seem to always make time for their friendship.
Two of the founding members of the new Hollywood Rat Pack, these two leading men have been friends since they met while auditioning for parts…as kids. Their friendship has lasted for over 25 years and the two continue to collaborate to this day on projects like the recent, “The Great Gatsby.” Though they used to love to go out chasing women together Tobey’s now married with kids – but that doesn’t mean the pair doesn’t make time for a pickup basketball game or two.
Since they starred together in the hit TV show “Friends,” these two have been inseparable. For over 15 years the two have done everything together, from vacationing to going through divorces. They’re so close they even spend holidays at each other’s houses! Rumors say that when Courtney Cox’s now fiancé Johnny McDaid popped the question in 2014 he actually did it at Jennifer’s house.
These two “It” girls have actually been friends for years – so close, in fact, that Perry took Williams as her date to the 2013 Grammy’s! The two have a seemingly fame-free friendship, going out for lunch, taking hiking trips, and generally just being adorable to each other.
