On a mobile browser, just tap the settings gear at the top.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to <strong>\u201cAccounts Center.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hit <strong>\u201cPersonal Details.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>\u201cAccount ownership and control.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now select <strong>\u201cDeactivation or deletion,\u201d<\/strong> and then choose the account you\u2019d like to delete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finalize the decision with <strong>\u201cDelete account,\u201d<\/strong> then hit <strong>\u201cContinue.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind that it may take Instagram up to 90 days to fully delete your account (they tend to keep copies of the account on record in case of accidental deletion).
