Claims to be irs "officer" & that I am being procsicutred. I can stop the proceedings if I pay money.

First a woman called me and left a message stating that she was from IRS and that I need to talk an attorney before I go to jail. I called back and a man answer and ask my named I gave him my name and then he told me that I was being investigated for tax fraud. I realize this this was a scam and hung up.

Scam call to get money from you posing as an IRS agent. What bothers me is that they have access to someone actually in the irs to get info. This should be investigated to find the IRS employee who is giving info.

msg says you or your appointed attorney call right away, Julie Smith (name not really legible) from the IRS do not disregard this message - call right away before legal action is taken thank you and have a nice day. first clue starts out with "you" not a specific individual

Same as prior comments IRS. Claims legal action will be taken against me if I or my attorney do not call back. Scam.

Said her Name was Julie Smith from the IRS and I needed to call back immediately it was time sensitive. Knew it was a scam immediately!!

Caller said they were the IRS and that we owed almost 6000.00 and to avoid prison we had to get an attorney immediately

I received a recorded message phone call saying they were the IRS and wanted me or my attorney to call back immediately. Person identified themselves as Hedda Gray but the caller ID had the name Mean Susan S. ....

Left me a message that this was the IRS and if I didn't respond to the call there would be legal action against me. I did call the no. back and a man answered from the "IRS" I laughed and said so you are from the IRS huh, what kind of scam are you running, he hung up on me.

Called and left a msg to call back because it was the IRS looking for me to collect debt.. When I called back they hung up on me ! They are very hard to understand...
