Officer Alex Miller called me and said he was a federal crime investigator. He first left a message and said there was a complaint in my name. I called him back and spoke to him and I asked why nothing had been mailed to me. He argued with me asking for my information and I told him that I did not believe anything he was saying and he could mail something to me. After a little more arguing I hung up on him. He called me right back and left another message saying the police had been notified and I needed a "really good attorney because the cops are on their way." little does this guy know I work close to the PD and Sheriffs office here and made my own complaint. I hope this guy is caught.

I reported this number, the guy's name and his spiel to the Glendale, CA Police Department (he called me 2 days in a row - 2nd day he said he was from the Federal Crime Investigation unit - called him back and asked him specifically what the complain was against me, and he told me I was on a recorded line. Officer Alex Miller with the Department of Revenue called me and left a message saying that someone had filed a complaint, and said to call him back the second I got the message or everything along with my social security number would be forwarded to the courts. So he hangs up then calls me back and this is no apology I contacted ur police department and u need to call and talk to ur cheif. Then hung up again. So I did bc I wanted a officer at my house for when I called him back to be told to stop calling me. The police laughed and said do u not understand how many times they call us about different people. If u dont owe anyone money dont worry about it. I explained to her what was said and she said no one is goin to talk to u like that even if u do hang up on the or what ever they will have a perfessional manner to handle things not tell u to shut ur mouth. So she sent an office to my house so I could show him the numbers and what happens they call again saying a officer is on their way right now to arrest u. Well I said the officer is here u may talk to him. And he hung up the phone. So scam bc u will be served papers or w.e before u get arrested for no reason. Just ignore dnt give information out either!

I received a call and he said he was officer Alex Miller and that they had received a complaint on me and he said this person gave my number and physical address. Did not call the # back, needs to be reported!

Called me and said they were with the IRS and I owed taxes from 2008 and 2009. Told them I did not and to send me information. Said fine they would just have me arrested. I called IRS and left this information for them.

Called me 1/22/14 4:30 pm. Knew my full name. Said he was a federal investigator. "Officer Davis" but his accent was so heavy I could barely understand him. When I stated that I've never broken any laws. He replied "are you kidding me?" "Ok, if you're going to be smart then I will just send an officer to your door to arrest you. I was trying to help you but now I don't want to" I'm sure if I would have a accepted his "help" it would have costed me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Don't fall for this scam!

They just called my wife and said they are the FBI and she is a suspect in a crime. Wife started laughing and they said you think it is funny. Wife said since I just retired as a Deputy Warden and husband retired from the Sheriff's Office. They then hung up the phone. They number is from Glendale,Ca. Need to send Glendale Police Dept. for them impersonating an officer.

These people call and tell you they are from IRS and need to collect money. Very rude and obnoxious. It's fraud, somebody needs to put them behind bars!
