This number text me and threatened my life.

This number called my mother telling her I was in an accident and they needed information about me. A man and a Woman were on the phone. The woman was pretending to be me crying, and the man got on the phone yelling at my mother telling her my life depends on the information she gives.

this number tried to pass themselves off as my boss, sent me a text saying he was too busy to talk but to text and let them know I received their text

Said he worked for IRS that I was trouble

Just got a voice message from so call IRS John Watson with a very strong hindu accent go figure...stating they were calling about an audit they did n found some kind discrepancy....I tried calling the # back n it doesn't even ring....This is a scam please beware!!!!

Obvious scam. Man with heavy accent said he was from the IRS and I should call or have my attorney call to avoid immediate legal action.

Received four calls from this number by a man with a heavy India accent. He said it was the IRS and I was to contact a Mr Marcus immediately. He gave me the same number to call. I called and spoke to a "Mr. Marcus" who said that I had to pay "right now" $275 to avoid going to court with the IRS. He asked me to give him my attorney's number. I said I had no attorney. He said that I had to get a "tax voucher" and I was to call him back before 5pm and he would tell me what to do next. I have not called him and I checked out this site first. Appears to be a scam. "Mr Marcus" also had a discernible India accent, tried to be strict and professional, and gave me a badge number when I said: is this really the IRS and how do I know you are legitimate? I am calling the IRS.

Well what he didn't know was that I worked for the agency. I informed him that it is a federal offense to be personating the federal government and that he could be fined up to a certain dollar amount and/or imprisonment. He hung up. I called back several times after that and he wouldn't pick up. This is a scam. If you should get any calls from someone personating the federal government please advise your local authorities. They will advise you on how to proceed further.
