I am checking to see if this is a legitimate phone number

MY Mother was talking to the people from this phone number. They told her that she would get an 100 door savings at Wal-Mart and Target. The lady had my mom repeat her information and Visa card three times. On the 3rd time they asked for her card number again and she told them (never mind ) and hung up. The lady called my mom 2 more times and on the second call I took over and told them that she was 83 years old and decided that she didn't want it. The lady told me it was to late. I spoke to the highest person and his name he said was Shaun Williams. He said that my mom had to take it because the computer sent her a conformation number. I told him that she didn't get a number because she hung up and he needed to give me the conformation number. He said If I finished the call for her then she would get a conformation number. I told him that she didn't understand the call because of her age and that she wasn't going to finish the call and not to call back. All togeather he continued to call three more times and my father told him that he was told not to call back already and if he did again that he would here from his lawyer.

This company represents themselves as walmart giving a 100 gift certificate from walmart if you allow them to send you information about a new product that walmart will be selling soon they ask for your credit card info and authorization to charge 6.95 to send info and a sample I provide a false # to see what happens BEWARE they then handed the phone to a so called supervisor (not transferred again handed the phone) the supervisor asks for your info again the stating that you are authorizing a charge of 69.00 when told it is not authorized do not charge the card they then talk over you stating it has already been charged do you want the confirmation # when saying no do not charge my card there is no authorization he proceeds to tell you if you don't ask for the confirmation # you will be charged a 69.00 14.00 and 11.00 charge and a # will be given to you to call and can canceled if you don't want it. I told them the call was being recorded and they are not to charge anything along with the dare and time in order for it to be used in court if needed you need to make the caller aware they are being recorded as well there is proof there is no authorization they hung up Ono me I called back got someone else told them the call was being recorded and was hung up on again. Then my phone rings and miraculously it's the original guy asking why I hung up on him proceeds through the same line of in order to avoid all the charges I have to speak to his supervisor to get the confirmation # which at that point once you ask for the confirmation # they will charge you cause that is a way of getting authorization Gave false eid # company name This is a scam nothing is free if a company is trying to market their product they will not ask you for cc info to ship information

sent on postcard for me to call them for getting a gift rebate at walmart or target. claim reward of $100 for a $6.?? processing fee.

tried to sell my father a $100.00 Wal-Mart card, than proceeded to send him to another who also wanted his credit card number. Would not tell him the name of company, and when we realized it was a scam, tried to cancel, but telemarketer said it was already processes. This happened to my dad who is 96 years old. We cancelled credit card right away
