THE NUMBER THAT APPEARED ON MY PHONE IS NOT THE NUMBER HE PROVIDED. THIS FOREIGN CALLER INSISTS THAT MY WINDOWS BASED COMPUTER IS SENDING ERROR MESSAGES TO HIS MICROSOFT OFFICES IN TECH SUPPORT AND HE WILL CLEAR ALL ERROR MESSAGES. HE WANTED ME TO REACTIVATE SOME FILES. HE SAID THAT MY COMPUTER WILL CRASH IF I DON'T REACTIVATE THE FILES. HE TRIED TO PROVE THE CALL WAS LEGITIMATE BY PROVIDING PERSONAL INFORMATION HE THOUGHT WAS RELATED TO ME. HE BECAME VERY ARGUMENTATIVE AND PUSHY. I TOLD HIM WAS GOING TO REPORT THIS CALL. HE HUNG UP.Comment
I get at least 6-7 calls daily from this number. I NEVER pick up!Comment
This company has be hassasing me for months. This is not the only number they call from. I hang up and block the number immediately and the next thing I know I am receiving call from the same company. SCAMMERS!!!Comment
SCAM ALERT! DO NOT AUTHORIZE!! I was just contacted by these jags. They claim to be working in tandem with AT&T & Centurylink and due to federal deregulation of telecom monopolies. An operator passed me to a manager who turned on the charm and instantly spoke a mile a minute claiming that due to AT&T & Centurylinks monopoly they have been outsourced as a competitive option for businesses like ours. Any questions were quickly ignored or refuted. The ultimate goal was to get me to authorize carrier changes switching them to our service provider. She said all changes were mandatory and would happen regardless my authorization but she was desperately trying to get me to authorize the change with AT&T or Centurylink. Luckily I was able to slow down that scam artist enough to actually hear the name of their company and google them. THEY DO NOT WORK FOR AT&T OR CENTURYLINK. THEY WILL NOT LOWER YOUR BILL.Comment
CALLED AT 10:00 AM, She claimed she was associated with AT&T about a rate change that was to start next month, and she could help me money. I told her not to lie to me, then she became very upset and told me not to talk to her take way, I hung up.Comment
