Trying to extort $5000 from me

I received a call from this number.they said that they were a branch of the government. And I qualified for a one time hardship loyalty loan. They said that they was sending me 9000 dollors that I was not required to pay back. Gave me a I'd number. Told me to call this phone number and give there supervisor my loan I'd number and they were sending me 9000 through Walmart or western union. Have the money in 15 to20 mins. No strings attached. Called that number and gave them that I'd number and next you know he was telling me that I had to put up 400 dollars to get it and they would reimburse me once I got the loan.. He heard my nephew say that's a scam. And hung up on me. Just wondering if it's a real government office. Dont believe that the government would be willing to pay me 9000 but I got to put up 400 to get it

This person will blow up your email and cell phone claiming to buy your item off Craig list . Sent a check for 4 X want you wanted and tell you to cash it and take out you money sent rest to a shipper scam all the way. The Bank did verified the account and the $$ is their but still smell like a scam to me
