Have received daily calls at 4:00 pm from this number. Have spoken to reps at Verizon who promise my number will be removed from their system. My number is on the "do not call list", too. I called the 1-866-894-6848 at Verizon to get this stopped. I still have hope!

OK I just VERIFIED this number with Verizon wireless and it's Financial Department and it IS LEGIT. As stated in a previous post (just not so nice). Nonetheless it is legit when you call Verizon Wireless have them patch you to the finance department to verify it and then it can be cleared. I spent 42 minutes on the phone with them and we got to the bottom of this. Unlike the previous poster stating about paying your bill, I had and still recived this call 4 times. So the best advice I can give you is to call Verizon wireless (1-866-894-6848) and verify it yourself before giving out information due to the high volumne of fraud these days. So I understand everyone's concern. Hope this helped. Thank you for your time:)

I have received 3 calls from this number in the last 2 days & haven't answered any of their calls nor do they leave a message. My phone number is on the DO NOT CALL list & if they call again, I WILL BE REPORTING them with no questions asked! Don't know who these people are but I am sick & tired of them calling me!

The call from 323-404-9261 is a LEGITIMATE phone call from Verizon Wireless or it's debt collection agency. They also send a text message. If you haven't paid your bill or owe money on an old account, they want you to pay. Those who keep saying that it is a scam probably owe Verizon Wireless. How would a random scam artist know that you are past due on your Verizon Wireless bill? Seriously!!! Call Verizon's FINANCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT to verify and don't just speak to a regular customer service rep because half the time they don't know what they are talking about.
