This man (Matthias) from "Heavenly Parrots Aviary" tried to sell us a young Macaw and have us send the $1,000 to the phone number listed above. At first he said we needed a $350 deposit and then changed it to $1,000 plus $150 shipping cost. He also claimed to be with Central Pet Store--this phone number (above) is listed in Christmas, FL, but this business doesn't seem to exist, either. He called us (thick accent) from 224-474-9878 trying to get us to send the $$ through an Apple Pay Wallet. Our credit card company finally declined to authorize the payment (thankfully)! The 224-474-9878 is listed in DesPlaines, IL with the owner in GA, neither one in Florida. Very strange . . . We would appreciate anything you could do to stop this man!
