This number has been calling my home phone everyday since last week. My number is on the do not call list, however, does not make a difference, they keep calling anyway. Have tried to trace it, it is not listed..

The reason nothing is done is that the telemarketing industry has more than a few highly paid lobbyist and lawyers, who argue that the industry is performing a valuable public service to those people who are not otherwise able to get out (home-bound and the like), and therefore could not avail themselves of the services being offered, not having the opportunity to hear about them. Its the FREE MARKET ENTERPRISE System in all it's glory! Surely you would not want to stifle or other impede that, would you?
