From great growth to new partnerships and powerful reunions, it’s been quite the year for Spokeo! Let’s take a trip down memory lane and note some of the big moments on the Spokeo blog….
We kick off the year by partnering with cyber dating expert, Julie Spira, to help you stay safe as you searched for your Valentine…
We also announced the FIRST winner of the Spokeo Connections Scholarship, Ashley Dillon!
In February, we brought you an info-graphic on dating safety research and new updates to Spokeo’s Reverse Address Search.
March’s posts announced Business Search on Spokeo
and a very cool Mobile Migration Map visualizing city transplants according to their cell numbers.
In April, we warmed your heart with the winners of the 2014 Spokeo Search Angel Awards and in May, we shared a video about them that seriously made you smile!
June served as a reminder to get your application in for the 2nd iteration of the Spokeo Connections Scholarship and July was big for those who like perusing Spokeo on their phones. We launched Spokeo 8.0 which encompassed responsive design.
In August you got to meet the Spokeo interns, Kunal, Kyle, Irene, Lea, and Ashwin one at a time!
In September, Latesha shared a story about finding her family in ONE night after 20 years of wondering. We also announced winner #2 of the Connections Scholarship AND launched a page listing fifty scholarships from other organizations to help the starving students out.
Fall activities picked up at Spokeo with a job fair with Innovate Pasadena and OpenX and a visit from top Ruby contributor Aaron Patterson in October.
November kicked off the celebration of our growth with the #22 spot on the LA Business Journal’s list of fastest growing private companies.
And December concluded with a HUGE official announcement of our growth and some happy, holiday giving.
What a year! We’re already planning a lot for 2015. From a huge upgrade in Spokeo 9.0, to a brand new product and more. Stay tuned and happy 2015!
