The Traveling Hedgehog – Peru

If you’re not already aware, Spokeo’s mascot is an awesome blue hedgehog. Although we legally cannot have a pet hedgehog for the office, we’ve slowly been accumulating substitute hedgehogs. (See left.)

Calvin is one of those hedgehogs, and has recently become a world traveler. His first destination was Peru! Calvin bravely packed his bags and boarded his first flight to this South American gem.

Calvin explored Inca ruins, including the spectacular Machu Picchu, befriended some llamas (he now has a pen pal named Emilio), drank a fair share of Cerveza Cusqueña, devoured copious amounts of ceviche and fully embraced the culture. The trip was a great success and Calvin has grown as a hedgehog and reached new heights (literally, as Machu Picchu is 7,970 ft above sea level).

Calvin has definitely been bitten by the travel bug and plans to embark on many fabulous trips in the future. In the meantime, check out his Peruvian adventures in the pictures below.
