A self-described “accidental search angel,” Kellie knows what it feels like to be disconnected and reunited with a loved one. At 17, she was forced to give up her baby girl. Soon thereafter, Kellie began her search which continued for 23 and-a-half years.
While taking breaks from her own search, Kellie would help other people impacted by adoption in an effort to create reunions. After finding her daughter in 2010, she dedicated herself fully to helping others search for their families. Kellie describes herself as “just a wife and mother of four who sits in her room on her laptop, changing people’s lives.” It is her hope to spread the word about search angels so more will volunteer and get involved.
