Future Georgia Tech Student Wins Winter 2015 Connections Scholarship

The Connections Scholarship opportunities continue at Spokeo. The third, and most recent, winner stole our hearts with her passion for charity. Emma Browning wrote about social media and the power it has to connect people with a cause. Her focus on compelling content has been the trick to helping engage her local high school students and get them involved.

Let’s get to know Emma:

Hometown: Cumming, GA

Current School Status: High School Senior; starting Georgia Tech in the Fall of 2015

Planned College Graduation Year: 2019

Extra activities: I am president of the Academic team and captain of the Debate team, as well as on the leadership team for Simple Charity (Feel free to make a donation!). I am really happy to be part of such an amazing group.I also enjoy video editing and playing board games with my friends.

Future career plans: Definitely something international! I would love to travel the entire globe. With an International Relations degree, hopefully that will be possible.
