Can you believe it’s the last few precious days of summer? Most of the kids are already back in school, and though we can count on sunshine in our Pasadena offices for a couple more months, fall is upon us.
One of summer’s best highlights in our office (besides the company picnic) is that we are joined by our FANTASTIC four summer interns! Each year, we filter through applications and select a talented handful of college students to join us in the Spokeo offices for a hands-on training experience and a fun-filled summer.

Spokeo interns are immersed into life on the development team, and they help build meaningful projects that actually see the light of day. Besides this valuable experience, they get fun trips like hikes and even Disneyland!
“The 2015 summer interns were some of the most focused I’ve ever worked with,” said Lead Software Architect and overseer of the interns, Austin Fonacier. “They picked up everything very quickly and contributed to a variety of important projects, everything from back end to front end and even dev ops code. These were projects not only for internal Spokeo audiences, but ones that actual customers will see. Every single intern also contributed to open source, and that makes us really proud of them.”
As much as we’re excited about the experience that we provide them, we’re blown away by the talent and personalities (beyond super hero powers) that join us each year. We’re excited to introduce them to you one at a time. Check back regularly as we’ll be profiling them each individually over the next few days.
